Emails that are filed should have a reminder option

As per outlook; when you file an email in a job folder but still have an action pending you should be able to set yourself a reminder.

This is not the same as checking the 'pending' box. If you are like me then you get quite a few emails each day and the highlighted emails that are pending soon disappear off my screen and out of my mind.

A reminder would help me keep a watch on them. Hope you agree.

There is already a tick box labeled 'pending' this leaves the email in your inbox highlighted in a different colour.

Is this anygood or were you and the other 4 people thinking something else?

Okay I see your point.
hmm,

How about a tick box when filing to add a todo to your todo list?

Yes, that might work, timescale?

I would find it very useful if emails that you highlight as pending linked in to the to-do list as this means I can allocate a timescale to action it or chase etc.

Okay so we added a feature to email so you can list only certain emails, its possible to list just the pending ones does this help?

The selector is next to the Filter box labeled All, Unread desc usually.
