Alternatively make Officenet 100% compatible with Firefox and/or Chrome and use the add-on/ built-in dynamic spellcheckers those browsers have.

Officenet is compatible but Firefox and chrome will not fill UNC Paths in windows to open documents.

We have uses using Safari on Mac and we develop on macs so the internet explorer issue is really a windows issue.

Mike that doesn't really answer his question?

MS outlook will check and identify spelling and grammar mistakes as you type an email, a fairly useful tool which enables MS outlook users to checkspelling as they go.

Why are you not willing to even match this MS functionality and features to make your system more useable and competitive??
